We perform a detailed study of all contracts on which client positions are based, preparing a detailed report that unifies on a single document all client portfolio. That includes Assets and contracts identification, asset valuation, risk analysis and solutions proposed to mitigate those risks. Evolution and performance attribution We analyze all finance contracts on client’s side along with guarantees and existing derivatives. We build an integrated report that gives detail an measure legal and financial risks client is exposed to. 

Banking Claims & Litigation

When client has suffered losses we lead claiming procedures and litigation against financial institutions in order to recover losses and also obtain appropriate indemnities for our client. Procedures includes claiming against customer service, complain to the National commission of asset market, Bank of Spain and eventually go to court. We specially focus on all incompliance issues the financial institution could have incurred regarding MIFID and other important regulations required.

Insurance Claims & Litigation

We have extensive experience in the management and defense of civil liability cases, as well as recovery actions from liable insurance companies. Personal injury and claims in Spain are on a new trend on the scale of compensations. In case Insurance Company fails to pay the indemnity or it pays but on such amount the insured considers is not worth. The insured may file a lawsuit against the insurance company. Court procedures will depend upon the amount to be claimed leading to a regular court procedure, or even oral court procedure. Spanish Statute of limitations for the lawsuit is 2 years counted from event reporting date when insurance only covered material damages (property or car insurance) , or 5 years from event reporting date, if insurance covered personal injuries (life or medical insurance).
